say untying knots

barehandedhis nails cut  exceptionally  short

the waistcords of two pair of sweatpants were knotted by his nemesis

                                                                           haste makes waste

he tolerates them because he has no choice

he was being hasty

                      Jah

there are times when he has to tolerate himselfFuck

                                              Screwed the pooch again

he knotted the sweatpants over successive days a couplethree weeks ago

emotions had gotten the better of him

                                             that was his excuse

his reason

             he should have slowed down and frustrated not have yanked so hard

cotton cords cinch easily

also  because they are cotton was his saving grace this morning when he decided to finally hunkerdown and contend with them

hed tried prior haphazardly 

was turned away

cotton knew he was insincere

not one to be bested by a stubborn inanimate object he returned to the task this morning

    and is now  celebrating
