the words conflicted him
he decided that the “fear and
anxiety” the author referred to were meant to pertain to the historic Middle
Ages he was writing of
because if the writer were positing “fear and anxiety” to this current time he didnt get the memo not did he subscribe to the malevolent notion of fear or anxiety
to be sure he was white he was male he understood the base entitlement those

it wasnt something he blindly assumed he
