Somebody got it all wrong not they werent legit it was based in sound reasoning
he called his cousin back
returned one telephone call and more so not to find out what she called
about(they had never talked on the telephone before) rather to address her stalking
him
to term it stalking wasnt as severe
as it sounded
in addition to the two telephone
messages she left on his machine at home each of his three daughters had efemaled him
(in contrast to him emaling them) that they had received book of Face messages
from her asking them to please have him contact her at the same cellphone number
she had already provided him
for once he had affection for the
machine
there was a reason why he didnt
provide his cellphone number to anyone other than his girls
it was a phonebooth
he turned it On called turned it
Off
he wouldnt have had one if not
having it didnt cause his girls discomfort
they responsibly cited safety
he reminded them cells were the
latest modern inconvenience
hed spent most of his life unleashed
he conceded
conceded to provide them their
peace of mind
thats what fathers parents did
Right
circular reasoning
inspired by fear
no matter
they were happy
happier
he compromised
he always bitched compromise was
lacking
how could he not
they cornered him in a circle
clever clever grrls
his uncle died
his cousins father
and he caught wind via his sister
who lived back east that his uncles girls believed his parents had compromised
the last will and testament of another uncle who had died more than twenty
years earlier and left his house to his parents his uncles sister and
brotherinlaw thereby neglecting his remaining siblings
one of those siblings his uncle
who just died
his cousins believed the house
illgotten and now wanted his mother to sell it so they could secure a piece of
the pie
someone got it wrong
Necessity wasnt the Mother of
Invention
Money was
Greed was
he called her cell
it went to voicemail(vicemail)
Imagine
she had a smartphone tethered to
her wrist shoved up her ass and still his call went to voicemail after ringing
out
he had no interest in his uncles
will twenty years old
his uncle left him a book
a First Edition of an obscure
book about a young man a teenager who during the 30s at the time of commission became
the fall guy for two other teenagers friends of upstanding wealthy Illinois families
who werent going to have their sons spend their lives in prison for kidnapping
and murdering a baby
a sensational copyist murder
the baby murdered it was written because he wouldnt
quit crying
the fall guy via collusion with his
parents the boys parents and big money was quietly committed to a mental
institution downstate nullifying any statement he may have wanted to make
he was declared mentally deficient
unsound
only recently when his uncle gave him the book the fall guy was released from the asylum
he spent more than sixty years
put away
the other two boys lived their
lives didnt look back died peacefully
he was released into his greenlawned and elmtreed neighborhood
he was the old man he befriended who every day for nearly two years like
clockwork no matter the weather struggled down the block across the street from
his house walking aided by a walker he clenched in his fists
the old man literally took a
halfanhour to pass on this course of a short city block
he admired him
his fortitude
hed call Hello to him and waved
the old man parchmentfleshed would
pause when he waved it appeared painful then he returned to his determined plodding
that his uncle knew the story it
preceding his birth was only because of its time it was one of the most
horrific crimes ever perpetrated in the city and was reminiscent of the
Lindbergh horror preceding it
lives ended abysmal Money and Greed and all for a lark of two misfits who suffered no punishment because palms could be salved and a phony
miscreant could be erected became a
motherlode to his family during difficult times was shut up and shut away by an unimpeachable
expert coined precisely to the task
that Book was closed
until this First Edition exposé
was written
his uncle had a way of giving to
those he loved the most perfect gifts
