Ah the stuff he found himself revealing in letters to his mother and father
his prudent parents
but perhaps a World War fashions one prudently they were
combatants as everyone is a combatant who suffered a war effort
the Worlds societal fabric was ravaged
but to their credit
they sought to mend the rag rather than ditch it
neither of his parents were keen on the Internet
though they were informed by their youngest grandchildren
who in his estimation lacked even the minimal two brain cells to rub together
and maybe their imbecility was encouraged by his parents who encouraged their
youngest children to go forth and multiple
because his younger siblings Werent all that
though as the eldest
he compared his upbringing to their fundamental lack of parental upbringing
he could suppose eight kids were a bit too much to bite off and chew
and understandably

his parents were exhausted
he had two children and they exhausted him
but they couldnt beat him down
he had them young and the resilience of his youth was what went lacking in his parents
regarding his youngest siblings
he could see it
but he didnt live in-State
they were glimpses during visits
and while his parents were due his respect
they did raise him
casting a critical eye
his remarks even softpeddled werent appreciated
one can easily suppose no parent ever wants to hear remarks critical of their children
and of course they would
they reminded him he wasnt a bowl of cherries either
