hes got to be livingright  somehow   thanked his lucky stars   granted  likely most wouldnt consider his favour integral   or even worthwhile

                                        but

hes easily amused  rarelyever takes things for granted

                                                           particularly

when theyre to his benefit

                              his lucky stars aggregated into a delicious constellation

not only twice had he not have to break stride jaywalking across six lanes of traffic not a hunred yards from the largest intersection in town which also provided ingress to the interstate north and south

    a third time charmed  the following morning as he jaywalked jaywalking was his standardwasnt keen on corners or testy secondcounting machinery which dictated WAIT WAIT WAIT as he pushed its button thrice  did most things in 3s  a prime

crossing a shoulder two lanes of traffic a turn lane two lanes of traffic the other shoulder to catch a bus into the city

didnt break stride

                    which isnt to say he was obliviousdidnt cast his eyes left right  always left first  like him always going counterclockwise  against the current  into headwinds

if he didnt do things the hard way

why do them

they werent strenuous

just hard

then afterwards

he could take the easy way out

because he earned it

he liked earning his way

suppressed any sense of greed

and in America

its GREED was second to none around the world

                                               that

    and because he loved to play
