    he hoped he didnt confuse her when they texted late the other night

shed gone as she writes MIA  missing in action since

he read their exchange over several times teasing it to see if he were her impossible she may have misunderstood him

    teased the hell out of it

if he were subtle he wasnt perhaps   perhaps

                                            she misread him

hed wait wouldnt venture until she wrote back  whenever that would be

                                                                           a week weekanahalf wasnt unusual

   itd be easier if they talked

but she let his calls go to voicemail

later replied with a text

its been going on long enoughgrated him at first then he embraced a Stoic admonishment  Let go of what you cant control

he wasnt a control freak

when they presented he gave them a wide lane

                                                    chose not to interact

while he was patient

                      his hourglass  the sand trickling through it  wasnt an hour  its siftingsand  grain by grain  irritateddidnt tickle  

 

if they talked on the phone hed say

                                      I woud love to make love with you

But I wont 

Not any longer

I apologise if my words were disconcerting

It is in the past would chuckled
