its what hes come to expect from WORD from aspects of his computer overall their unceasing of course its a machine would have to pull the plug attempts to muck things up

an example
he began a sentence to be fair he was trying to provoke WORD  Imagine  Tryin to provoke a machine he began a sentence with Hazzard misspelled it
clever machine  it toyed with him

WORD failed to bitch him  correct or challenge his misspelling

he wondered if it assumed he was thinking of the television series The Dukes of Hazzard

Christ
he wouldntdidnt watch that trashdismayed his younger brothers his little sisters who sat rapt on the carpet in a semicircle six feet that was the rule had to sit six feet back from the television

they wondered if he was mad

hed take a book into the small room off the livingroom and read

his parents either together one at a time wandered past
Why aren’t you watching TV with the brothers and sisters?

because  he thought that was a stupid question he looked up at them with cool detachment No thank you

for shits and giggles he entertained Google
                                               HazzardYUP

The Dukes of Hazzard then immediatelythereafter  The word “hazard”
“The English word ‘hazard’ comes from an early French word, hasard, which itself derived from the Arabic word az-zahr, meaning ‘the die’”.

die as in one of a pair or more of dice

had to admit that hasard was mighty tempting

he was writing a letter to his father who was keen as he was wonder where he learned that about catching misspellings in the newspaper was particularly bugged if the misspelling occurred in the opinion section whether by an opinion writer or Letters to the Editor  personal opinions similar to todays on-line crap which far too many people gobble up as fact
                                                                            But Dad . . .

Yes, son? he was his fathers son  his father never called him by his name   bugged him

Do you think the typesetter erred or do you think the typesetter was simple precise and did not correct the misspelling   After all hes not paid to be the proofreader actually he and his father were brieflyemployed at a local paper when they were young men as proofreaders his old man got him the job thought it would be a kick same cat was the editor when his father proofread

No matter. I’m calling the paper to let them know, let them know they ought to be ashamed of themselves, abusing the English language like that.

once upon a time his father found a misspelling in a book and went to the trouble to find the publishers telephone number and called and lodged a complaint

they were thorough

their wives called them anal

they were proud of their anuses
