                he got along exceedingly well with them   he was an Aries

lotsa of homemade birthday cakes

                                     lovingly made  hearts and souls worn on the sleeve kind of cakes

caringly beautifullymade

his two favourites

a ginger cake decorated with shredginger jumbo cinnamon gummy bears

a carrot cake  creamcheese frosting scattered walnuts carrot slices cleaved to look like hearts  a whole carrot greens included arched to one side

hed not seen either like that ever before

he enjoyed a sliver of each

wasnt keen on cake

                        his birthday cake was a lemon meringue pie

the pie his mother made for him for years were the best

his girlfriend made him “risked” as she said she understood whos pie hers would be held up to

she  crushed  it

a heart and soul pie

                      eating it he admitted as much

 

were probably the only times savouring her successive birthday pies  he conceded the possibility of soul
