he was terribly encouraged  the daily average deaths had fallen precipitously to 59 deaths

though in fact

his statistics were incomplete

April 14 15 16 17  four days were not recorded

on 13March he cited that 1,217,554 Americans had died

                                                            over eleven days 1,253 deaths

on gruesome average 114 Americans dead

returning this evening to Worldometer where he learned of American deaths American murders for two years he discovered this:
