if he hadnt ever had a mentorhe did not

mentee wouldnt occur to him

fact was hed really have to dig to understand if he ever had a male role model

growing up white male entitled in a white male entitled community houses block after block neighbourhoods nuclear families public pools public recreation centers good schools   lotsa guys he knew regarded their fathers as their role model

majority of their decisions to do whaever was dependent on what they thought their father would make of their choice

he didnt care what his father or his mother thought  frankly   he didnt care what anybody thought

   Aah he didnt have to dig

never a mentor

never a mentee

   seemed mental to him if one didnt make their own way
