he knew a bit of something about watching pots boil he was feeding nearly three dozen hummingbirds they were extreme beings anif he coud help a fella out he was prone to doing so  rather he listened for the pot to boil hed been doing it so long that he developed an internal alarm clock that whispered Whadaya think?                       at least thats what he told himself he made sure he had something else going on to fill the time knew about the cavalry coming in his experience they rarely arrived in the nick of time sometimes they didnt show

                           it decided the battle was lost no sense getting involved
