  Yesterday
             I loved you yesterday, but yesterday's gone . . .

yesterday the House Committee on Oversight and Reform held a hearing on Abortion Rights the Right squats on the argument that when a baby is born it is a person and therefore – by extension -- it is a person before birth  they are terribly concerned for that person the womanthe mother not so much
they are very terribly concerned for the health of that personthey do not call it a foetus however they do not mention or are lackluster regarding the mothers health the conduit how that highlyregarded unbornperson has to enter the world through
                                                                                    Hmm he scratched his chin
Illinois Representative Krishnamoorthi a democrat questioned the panel regarding women arrested for abortion miscarriage and pregnancy-specific crimes he cited from 1973 to 2005 413 such arrests from 2006 to 2020 1331 arrests rising significantly in just the last 14 years
scratching his chinstaring into the maw of post-Roe America those arrestsparticularly black and minority will increase and women will be prosecuted – he hoped men would be too  as accomplices -- they will be imprisoned incarcerated
still scratching his chin he wondered if Americas prison system is prepared to provide prenatal care necessary wholesome foods postnatal care nurseries and dependent on sentences are prisons also ready to provide daycare preschool and elementary education
he quit scratchingWhadahell ofcourse prolife Republicans have looked down that road and have it all figured out
