when they met in Miami he was doing film study writing student scripts watchingsteeping himself in foreign films

years later during a troubled patch in their marriage she said  You think I liked those foreign films you dragged me around to?  cut him deeply

You said youd go anywhere with me 

                                        and

                                              I didnt have a car  You drove 

lacerating each others feelings didnt solve anything

 

 

ten years later they were still together

                                                          

he wasnt sure they solved anything
