they gather up its shit 

a dog wouldnt make you cleanup after them

                                               but if you were a worthwhile human beingif you were cool you picked up after them  

unfortunately hes had to heave more than one handful of dogshit at a dogowner than he cared to admit

dont pick it up

you wear it

he had cats 

there wasnt a choice whether or not to cleanup their catboxes after them

at least he didnt have to walk themdidnt have to worry whether or not they were spending quality time together

cats are independent

he was independent

dogs werent

neither were they who had a dog

they needed attention

                      were needy 

they needed happiness to be made for them  rather than providing their own

hed rather go to hell than put that onus on another human being
