D-Day

yesterday:  In 1944, the second line of Paul Verlaine’s 1866 poem Chanson d’automne – Autumn Song – (Blessent mon Coeur d’une languer monotone – Hurt my heart with a monotonous tongue) is broadcast by the Allies over BBC Londres as a coded message to the French Resistance to prepare for the D-Day landings.

   the beginning of the end
Allied soldiers land  many didnt have a chance to exact their bravery on Germany
Thank you
             with all my fiber
