I just can’t imagine.

Its simple

            Football on TV had been social

Im no longer social

Ive never been interested in the athletes their lives celebrity  what theyre paid to pitch

Not since Dandy Don Howard Costello Frank Gifford have talking heads said a word I want to hear

    Its about the game

When its over  highlights culled  assembled

                                                 I watch online

I enjoy its muted distillation

You wouldn’t go out to a sports bar?

No

Go hang with friends?

If invited Id decline

                     I cant tolerate the commercials the challenges the games natural flow interrupted

Its humanity diminished

Not only can’t I imagine . . . can you imagine what not watching says about your masculinity?
