I learned a word the other day, from a book, Fearless Speech, Mary Anne Franks, about the First Amendment, right up your alley, you’ll have to read it when I’ve finished it, you’ll agree, it describes you to a T.

It kinda sounds sexualwhich . . is why I think you’ll appreciate it, in addition to its meaning.

“. . . when assessments of the value and harm of speech are made with a white male subject in mind, the result is that speech valued by white men but harmful to women and minorities is likely to be characterized as protected speech, whereas speech that diverges from the interest of white men tends to be classified as an exception to First Amendment protection.”

“The tech industry has accelerated and promoted violent white male supremacist rhetoric for its own ends. While the true religion of corporations is profit, not politics, indifference to the destruction wrought by the ruthless pursuit of self-interest is the very definition of recklessness. In its colonization and commodification of free speech, the tech industry unites corporate recklessness with individual recklessness.”

“What accounts for the tech industry’s continued insouciance even as the social and human cost of its central profit model, based on the euphemism of ‘engagement,’ have become undeniable clear? It is now public knowledge that social media and other telecommunications platforms contribute to genocide, suicides, mass shootings, international and domestic terrorism, public health crises, insurrections, election interference, sexual exploitation, reputational ruin, psychological trauma, and misinformation on an unprecedented scale – and yet, tech industry not only survives but thrives.”
