    common  everyday  photos     snapped unposed

                                                          arresting a moment in time

            You remember all the excitementthe glee  Everyone  so happyelated

Woudya look at those smileseveryone  smiling

                                                   then

looking at them now  grateful

very grateful

              but the elation  dulled    blunted

several of his photographs  most everyone in them     are dead

                                                                     missed terribly

goofy grins  smiles     postures

                                         he cant escapecant

heal his heart

bane of a huge family  fourteen aunts and uncles seventythree first cousins living within two hours of each other

    Grandmother  true matriarch     their bond

soon

         in all his photographs

nobody

          will know who these people were

strangers
