Only a week ago

a slender week now

so thin a painting couldnt be hung with it or anything of substance bound

and if they hadnt come out where they went in

THEN

and always  only then

is a small sorrow suffered

  

only by those few intimates

in touch

invested

 

and outside

beyond their pliant blue shimmering bubble

were it busted

others were safe

intact

unscathed

 

no radical chain-reaction or roiling chemical concern

                                                                    

maybe slightly shaken

                                        otherwise  what might have been their violent white destruction

would scarcely have raised an eyebrow

for Eyes  naturally  were elsewhere

Involved

 

utterly distracted

as they should be

NO  they wouldnt recognize
