. . . wasnt something you see everydayin fact he hadnt seen it before   but he was in Chicago

hed seen women applying makeup in their rearview mirror it turned sharply left so they could see themselves without leaning he assumeddidnt see that they returned it to its functioning position after they finished their face

he was grateful he wasnt born a woman not with the expectations societyculture heaps on them
had he been born a woman he would have been a real bitch

truth be known he preferred unvarnished women women raw  occasionally a quick toucheyeliner blush  occasionally lipstick
he didnt trot after those who were high maintenance
his patience didnt soar to those heights

what he saw in traffic waiting at a red light was a man behind the wheel either trimming his moustachehe hoped in the rearview orhe hoped not pulling hairs out of his nose
he looked to be of Arab descent
he was able to watch because he wasnt drivingsat in the backseat inbetween  and did notdid not point it out to anyone in the car
was too busy thinking
Thas not something ya see every day

when traffic beganlurked forward the gentlemenstill his hands at his facewhat-have-you veered left into the lane he was riding in then corrected abruptlyright
as they passed he glanced and saw the gentlemans eyes shining
                                                                                                        convincing evidence
then quickly out the rear window he saw him wiping his eyes with the heel of his hand
