thats what a voice asked himnot a voice that he recognised not one that emanated from him

there were voices he heardparcels of himself that were aroused by particular moments or happenstancesvoices which he sought counsel from and heard out their reasons 

voices he argued with and raised his voice against when they forgot themselves and had raised theirs  who he warned stridently  they best not become too full of themselves dare not press him unsolicited the quickest way to lose his confidence

for the most part they were respectful

as yet there hadnt been a voice he gagged or censureddeafening himself to their audio frequency

he was circumscribe  attentive

he listened for more

maybe it was audio graffiti

taunting once

unrecognized

he couldnt tell if the voice was masculine or feminine
