it troubled him that it appeared in text as imho asif a word 

apparently it is a word! 

he thought of himself as knowledgeable so when something new felldrifted out of the sky like ash plummeted like birdshit he had to inspect it he had to see how he could have been so ignorant 

                                                                                  though to be fair he coined words to suit his means kittends kittens tear things up upend them hence kittends

yet imho he Googled it (About 25,400,000 results (0.29 seconds)) was far-ranging and ranged furthur than he had  obviously
